Oleshky desert is considered the largest sand massif in Europe, consisting of seven so-called arenas.

Dniester canyon is the largest in Ukraine and one of the largest in Europe. This is a valley whose steep shores reach from 100 to 250 meters above the water. Besides, on the territory of the Dniester canyon there are about 100 animate and inanimate natural landmarks of world importance.

The longest cave in Ukraine is called “Optimistic” – it is the longest gypsum cave in the world and the second longest among other caves; it is second only to the Mammoth Cave in the USA. The cave reaches areas deeper than 20 m and longer than 216 km.
